At a time when governments are needing not-for-profits to move away from a leaning culture and school funding is stretched to the max just on the essentials, we wanted to do something to help these important societal sectors.

The public are inspired by others with purpose - whether that's lifting people up, ensuring the younger generation achieves their full potential, building healthy happy societies, or protecting our planet.
To bring purpose back to the forefront of fundraising, Eco Shepherd set up Pitch It as a platform to merge purpose, people, and product selling. There is no sign-up or listing fees, so any not-for-profit organisation can make the most of Pitch It.
You may notice that Pitch It is what we like to call “frugal tech”- needs-driven, uncomplicated, and low-tech. We like it this way as a constant reminder that we're not striving for perfection, but for impact on real people's lives. As such, the best videos (and photos) aren’t necessarily those with high production values. It's the authentic character and personalities of the fundraisers that capture people’s hearts and engagement (aka wallets).
